Shillong Municipal Board Recruitment 2025 – Age & Age Relaxation
- Age will be calculated as on 01.12.2025, and candidates should have attained the age of 18 years and not exceed 32 years.
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
Shillong Municipal Board Recruitment 2025 – Reservation of Vacancies
- Since the posts will be based at the Shillong Cluster level, there will be a combined reservation of 80% of the posts in favor of Khasi, Jaintia, and Garo candidates, instead of a separate reservation of 40% each for Garo and Khasi-Jaintia candidates.
- In addition, 5% of the posts will be reserved for other Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

- Depending on the number of applications received for each post, the Selection Committee may conduct an online examination as per the following schedule:

- General Category: ₹460 (Rupees Four Hundred and Sixty only).

For Level 11 Posts:
- General Category: ₹320 (Rupees Three Hundred and Twenty only).
