- Conduct impact studies of schemes and policies implemented by Central Ministries and NEC.
- Collect and analyze information on programmes and policies of Central and State Governments; suggest improvements for the benefit of people in the North Eastern Region (NER).
- Prepare research papers and studies on developmental indices related to human resource development and skill improvement.
- Assist in plan scheme formulation and preparation of periodic reports.
- Review and analyze project reports, concept notes, and proposals submitted by States to assess their viability, sustainability, and relevance.
- Undertake field visits to project sites when required.
- Compile and analyze data; prepare notes, reports, and presentations (including PowerPoint).
