MSRLS Recruitment 2026 – Post Details & Salary

Option 1: Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry

• Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry from a recognized university.
• Minimum 1 year experience in:
  • Livelihood-related projects, or
  • Enterprise promotion (farm activities)

OR

Option 2: AH & Veterinary

• Graduate degree in AH & Veterinary (AH & Vetty) from a recognized University.
• 0–1 year experience in:
  • Livelihood-related projects, or
  • Enterprise promotion (farm activities).

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience in training rural communities.
• Strong computer skills, especially:
  • MS Office.
  • Google Sheets / Google Suite.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to speak, read, and write local language (preferred).

MSRLS Recruitment 2026 -Age Limit:

• Candidate must be within 30 years of age.
• SC/ST candidates: Upper age relaxable by 5 years.

MSRLS Recruitment 2026 – General Eligibility Conditions:

• Candidates must have secured minimum 45% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
• All posts are transferable in nature.
• The job involves:
  • Extensive travelling.
  • Stay in villages for around 15 days per month.
• Only candidates willing to undertake field duties should apply.
• No application fee is required.

Nature of Appointment:

• Appointment is purely temporary and contractual.
• No claim for permanent government employment.
• Preference will be given to local candidates of Meghalaya.
• Requires commitment to rural development and livelihoods.

• Selection may include:

  • Skill test.
  • Any other test decided by MSRLS.
• Preliminary exam will test:
  • Verbal ability.
  • Quantitative ability.
  • Analytical ability.
• Preliminary Examination Venue: Shillong.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the examination.
