The Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released an addendum notification announcing 56 additional vacancies for the post of Lower Division Assistant (LDA) under various Heads of Department.
These new posts are in addition to the 71 vacancies already advertised on 15 July 2025. Total posts now available: 127 LDA Vacancies. As per the addendum, all terms and conditions, including eligibility criteria, pay scale, selection process, and examination centres, remain the same as mentioned in the earlier advertisement.
If you’ve already applied for the LDA post earlier under Advertisement Advt. No. 15/Pt-1/2025 (dated 15th July 2025), you don’t need to apply again.
The MPSC has confirmed that there will be only one common examination for both the earlier notification (Advt. No. 15/Part-I/2025) and the new addendum (Advt. No. 19/2025 dated 30th October 2025.)

MPSC Meghalaya LDA Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process
1. Screening Test (300 Marks)
- English: 100 Marks
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs: 80 Marks
- Aptitude: 30 Marks
- Reasoning: 40 Marks

2. Personal Interview
- Only those candidates who successfully clear the Screening Test or Main Written Examination will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview. The number of candidates to be called for the interview will be decided by the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) as per its rules and discretion.
