Post – Procurement Manager
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Purchase / Material Management / Procurement & Supply Chain / Inventory & Logistics / Commerce / Engineering / Business & Financial Management.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Government / Private sector, Manager in Purchase, Procurement & Supply Chain, Inventory and Logistics, Commerce, Business & Financial Management related functions.
- Candidates having experience in procurement and Contract Management in any external aided projects (IFAD, JICA, ADB, etc. ) would be given preference.
- The candidate must be familiar with the prevailing State and/or Government Financial Rules (GFR 2017) related to the procurement of Goods, Works, and Services.
- The candidate should have sound knowledge in preparing EOI, RFP, RFQ, bid documents, drafting contract agreements, and handling bid/proposal evaluation and negotiation processes.
- The candidate must have expertise in drafting and negotiating agreements using various procurement selection methods.
- The candidate should possess sound knowledge and experience in managing different types of contracts, such as item-rate and consultancy contracts.
Essential Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Analytical and negotiation skills.
- Decision-making and problem-solving ability.
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent management and leadership skills to motivate employees across the board.
- Financial skills particularly focusing on budget management and costs estimations.
Age Limit:
- Maximum Age: 32 years as of 1st January 2025.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Remuneration:
- Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
