Qualifications:
- Applicants should possess a postgraduate degree in Science or Technology with a specialization in any of the following disciplines: Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Hydrology, RS-GIS, Forestry, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Water Resource Management, Earth Sciences, Geology, Disaster Management, Civil Engineering, or Geo-informatics, obtained from a recognized university.
Experiences:
- Candidates must have a minimum of two years’ research and development experience.
Skills:
- Proficiency in RS/GIS tools and techniques.
- Ability to collect, analyze data, and develop manuscripts.
- Skilled in project report writing with hands-on fieldwork experience.
Additional Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Candidates must also be proficient in basic computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations.

MBDA Recruitment 2025 – Age Limit:
- The upper age limit is 28 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC, women, and persons with disabilities will be provided as per Government of India norms.
MBDA Recruitment 2025 – Contract Period & Additional Benefits:
- The appointment will be on a one-year contractual basis, with the possibility of renewal depending on performance and project continuation. Upon selection, candidates will be given the full terms of engagement and must sign an agreement with MBDA.
- The monthly salary will be as specified above, and additional House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided as applicable from time to time.

MBDA Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process:
- The selection process will include a written test or assignment followed by a personal interview.
- The written test will assess candidates on Subject Matter Knowledge, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and English.
- Both the written test and personal interview will be conducted exclusively in Shillong.
