- Collaborate with local health system stakeholders and project team members to implement project activities under supervision.
- Carry out anthropometric measurements, field surveys, and interviews in assigned communities or target groups, adhering to established research protocols and methodologies.
- Visit field sites to collect and document data aligned with the project’s specific objectives.
- Manage survey logistics, including scheduling, mapping survey areas, and coordinating transportation arrangements.
- Review and verify data for completeness and accuracy; follow up with participants to address discrepancies or clarify collected information.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Field Coordinator and actively participate in team meetings to review findings, discuss challenges, and suggest improvements to the research approach.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Project Title:
“Health system strengthening and community engagement to establish a model for Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) in Meghalaya.”
This project, funded by the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation, focuses on:
- Leveraging Meghalaya’s 6,000 Anganwadi centers and 10,000 Anganwadi workers.
- Improving access to Nutrition Rehab Centers (NRCs).
- Engaging communities in the care of malnourished children.
- Designing a ten-pronged, multi-sectoral CMAM model.
- Evaluating the program’s effectiveness through cluster randomized studies.
About IIPHS Shillong:
