APPSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / B.Tech in relevant streams (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, IT, Electronics & Telecom).
- Candidates appearing in the final year are also eligible, subject to producing proof of passing before the interview.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 35 years (as on 10th October 2025)
- Age relaxation as per Arunachal Pradesh government rules.
APPSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria
- Written Examination
- General English, General Studies & Aptitude – 150 Marks
- Technical Paper – 300 Marks
- Negative Marking: 1/6 for each wrong answer
2. Viva-Voce / Interview
- Marks: 50
- Total combine = 500 Marks
- Minimum qualifying marks: 33% overall, 20% per subject
- Relaxed criteria for PwBD candidates (20% overall, 10% per subject)

APPSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 – How To Apply
- Register through One Time Registration (OTR) on APPSC website.
- Fill the online application form, upload scanned documents, and submit.
- Only one application is accepted; the highest Registration ID will be considered if multiple applications are submitted.
Required Documents to be Uploaded (Scanned)
- Signature of the candidates on white paper with black ink pen (40-50 kb in jpg format) & recent passport-size photo (40-100 kb in jpg format), the photo to be in white background, front-faced without head-gear and sunglasses.
- Self-attested photocopy of Diploma/Degree/Master’s Degree certificates (if applicable) along with mark sheets – 1st to 3rd year for Diploma holders and 1st to 4th year for Degree holders – issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of Examination/Vice-Chancellor of the respective University.
- Self-attested photocopy of the Matriculation Certificate (issued by a recognized Board) as proof of age. No other documents such as horoscope, affidavits, birth extracts, municipal records, or service records will be accepted.
- Self-attested photocopy of APST certificate (for APST reservation) and a copy of PRC or Aadhaar Card for General category candidates.
- PwBD candidates must submit a valid disability certificate as per the RPwD Act 2016. Certificates without the required medical authority will not be accepted.
