Gati Shakti Chair Professor, IIM Shillong – Eligibility Criteria
Professor:
- Regular or retired faculty members from reputed Institutes/Universities holding the position of Professor are eligible to apply.
- Must possess a PhD in Supply Chain Management or Logistics and Distribution Management from a reputed institution/university.
- Preferably have prior experience as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-PI in research or consulting projects in the domain of supply chain management.
- Should have a track record of quality academic publications demonstrating research in related fields.
Or
Professor of Practice:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics and Distribution Management in a reputed organization or institution (Government or Private Sector).
- Must have significant, demonstrable, and documented contributions in the area of supply chain and logistics.
- Should have published work, including academic journal articles, industry white papers, policy documents, or similar outputs.
Gati Shakti Chair Professor, IIM Shillong – Emoluments and Allowances
- Fixed Salary: ₹2,50,000 per month
- House Rent Allowance: ₹30,000 per month
- Medical Allowance: ₹5,000 per month
- Transport Allowance: ₹7,500 per month
- Telephone & Internet Allowance: ₹1,500 per month
Performance-Based Incentives:
- 2nd year: ₹20,000/month
- 3rd year: ₹30,000/month
