DSC East Jaintia Hills Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 32 years
• Upper age limit relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
• PWD candidates: Relaxation as per Govt. O.M. No. PER(AR)150/88/560 dated 18th January 2023.
• There is no age limit for regular Government employees who joined service within the prescribed age and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective authority at the time of the interview.
• Only the date of birth on the Matriculation or equivalent certificate will be accepted as proof of age.
• Vacancy reservation follows Meghalaya State Government rules. The District Selection Committee may revise the number of posts as needed.

DSC East Jaintia Hills Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on Screening Test (MCQ Pattern):

1. English – 100 Marks
2. General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 70 Marks
3. Aptitude, Reasoning & Elementary Mathematics – 100 Marks
4. Personal Interview – 30 Marks
   Total: 300 Marks

Personal Interview:

• Only candidates who qualify in the Screening Test/Main Written Examination will be eligible for the Personal Interview. They must produce all required original documents – including educational certificates, date of birth, caste/community, and any other certificates as prescribed – to be considered qualified for the interview.

Language Test:

• Candidates applying for any post under the District Selection Committee must pass a qualifying paper on the local language of the concerned district.

DSC East Jaintia Hills Recruitment 2025 – How To Apply

• Applications must be submitted online only through the “Online Application” link at https://rpa.meghalaya.gov.in/. Applications submitted by other means will be rejected.
• First-time applicants must complete a one-time registration before applying for any post.
• Last date for online application: 20th November 2025.
• As per Memo No. PER(AR)111/2022/70-A, dated 27th March 2025, preference will be given to local candidates permanently residing in East Jaintia Hills District.
• Registered candidates may log in and apply directly.
• Ensure all educational qualifications and personal details are entered accurately; incorrect or incomplete entries will result in rejection.
• As per Govt. letter No. PER(AR)21/2024/2, dated 16th February 2024, all applicants will be allowed to appear for the written examination.
• Document verification will be done after the written test; passing the test does not guarantee interview eligibility.
• Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria (educational qualification, age, physical standards, etc.) before applying.
• Original certificates must be produced during the personal interview, failing which candidates will be disqualified.
• Admission to all recruitment stages is provisional, subject to verification of eligibility.
• If found ineligible at any stage, candidature will be cancelled without notice.
