Meghalaya Police CID IT Consultant Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized university/institution:
Option 1:
- MCA, or
- B.E./B.Tech / M.Sc in:
- Information Technology.
- Computer Science.
- Electronics & Communications, from a recognized university.
OR
Option 2:
- MBA (IT) from a university established by law in India or recognized by the Government.
Preference:
Candidates having minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in:
- Government Organizations.
- Government Undertakings.

Scope of Work – IT Consultant
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Daily maintenance of databases
- Managing CAS (Core Application Software) at:
- Client sites.
- Server sites. (training will be provided).
- Handling application-related technical issues.
- Configuration, integration, and other technical requirements.
- Networking.
- Supporting system operations.
Salary Details:
- ₹45,000/- per month (Fixed consolidated remuneration).

Important Notes:
The IT personnel appointed on a contract basis will not be entitled to:

- Leave encashment.
