Educational Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Healthcare/Hospital Management, Hospital Administration, Public Health, or Management.

• Certification in quality management, procurement, or public finance is desirable.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 7 years of progressive responsible experience in hospital or health facility management.

• At least 3 years in a managerial role in a government health facility, large public hospital, or health programme (preferred).

• Experience in budget management, procurement/tenders, and HR administration is advantageous.

• Familiarity with state/district public health systems is desirable.

MBDA Recruitment 2026 – Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all non-clinical operations of the hospital, including administration, finance, human resources, procurement, stores, and facility maintenance.
• Develop and track the annual operational plan and hospital budget, ensuring proper financial management, timely reporting, and effective use of available resources.
• Ensure the hospital complies with IPHS guidelines, Ministry of Health reporting standards, operational procedures, infection control measures, and patient safety protocols.
• Oversee human resource management, including staff scheduling, deployment, supervision of contractual staff, and coordination of training programs in consultation with the Medical Superintendent and district/state authorities.
• Handle procurement and inventory control for medicines, equipment, and consumables, while ensuring preventive maintenance and supporting tendering processes when required.
• Supervise patient administration services such as admissions, referrals, billing (where applicable), grievance handling, and improving patient flow within the hospital.
• Support emergency preparedness and strengthen the efficiency of referral systems and ambulance services.
• Coordinate and collaborate with district and state health officials, the District Health Society, development partners, and community stakeholders for planning and mobilizing resources.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Medical Superintendent that contribute to smooth hospital operations.
