Assistant Urban Planner Recruitment Meghalaya 2025 – Eligibility and Educational Qualifications
Candidates must satisfy any one of the following eligibility paths:
Category 1 – Engineering / Architecture Background
- Candidates should possess B.Arch / B.E / B.Tech (Civil) along with a Post graduate Degree in Town Planning, City Planning, Urban Planning, Housing, Country/Rural Planning, Infrastructure Planning, Regional Planning, Transport Planning, or Environmental Planning from a recognized University or Institute.
- Desirable: Associate Membership of the Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI).
Category 2 – Geography / Social Science Background
- Candidates holding M.A / M.Sc in Geography or Social Science, along with a Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in Urban, Regional, City, Housing, Country/Rural, Infrastructure, Transport, or Environmental Planning from a recognized institution, are eligible.
- Desirable: Associate Membership of the Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI).
Category 3 – Physical Planning Background
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Planning from a recognized University and a minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in Urban or Regional Planning are eligible to apply.
- Desirable: Associateship or Associate Membership of the Institute of Town Planners, India.
