- Class VIII Passed from a recognized institution.
DSC East Jaintia Hills Grade IV Recruitment 2025 – Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 18 and 32 years of age. Age will be calculated as on 01.01.2025. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- For Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), age relaxation will be as per existing rules.
- There is no age limit for regular Government employees who entered service within the prescribed age and can produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their authority when called for the interview.
- The date of birth accepted shall be that entered in the Matriculation/Secondary School Leaving Certificate or an extract from the official registers duly certified by the competent authority or recognized by a University/Board.
- No other documents will be accepted as proof of age.

- The reservation of vacancies will be as per the existing policy for reservation in services and posts under the Government of Meghalaya.

Selection will be based on a Written Examination MCQ Pattern (100 Marks) consisting of:
- General Knowledge
- Current Affairs
- Candidates applying for DSC posts must qualify in the local language paper of the respective district.
- No interviews will be conducted for Group IV posts, but skill or physical tests will still be held where applicable.
