  • Develop a model linking CMAM and Nutrition Rehab Centers (NRCs).
  • Engage communities in child nutrition programs.
  • Strengthen the capacity of Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs).
  • Evaluate effectiveness using a cluster randomized study design.

The program focuses on reducing malnutrition, improving recovery times, and increasing community awareness and engagement.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Social Work, or a related health discipline OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field from a recognized university, with at least 2 years of experience working in health systems or managing community-based projects, preferably in public health, research, or social work.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading a small team of 2–3 people.
  • Good at organizing tasks, resources, and schedules.
  • Can adapt quickly to changing project needs.
  • Careful in keeping records and tracking progress.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Good communication skills in English and the local language.
  • Experience in field research and collecting data.
  • Can write clear activity reports.
  • Comfortable handling data and doing data entry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and able to handle challenges in the field.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Field Coordinator, your responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with health system staff and project team members to coordinate and carry out project activities in assigned areas.
  • Conduct field surveys and interviews in communities or target groups following proper research methods and protocols.
  • Travel to field sites to supervise, collect, and record data accurately and consistently according to project objectives.
  • Manage survey logistics, including scheduling, mapping survey locations, and arranging transportation.
  • Review and verify data for completeness and accuracy; follow up with participants to clarify or correct information when needed.
  • Identify and address any challenges or deviations from research protocols during fieldwork, ensuring quick resolution of issues.
  • Provide regular updates to the Project Coordinator and attend team meetings to discuss study progress, challenges, and possible improvements.
  • Take initiative in solving problems and handle any unexpected issues that arise during field activities promptly.
